Hi,

A few words of explanation about this seemingly redundant contribution:
Metroid is my absolute favorite NES game, and after listening to the
existing NSF for it, I was surprised that the music for the ending
and credits was missing. After I did the rip for Kid Icarus (which is
very similar to Metroid in many regards), I did my own rip for Metroid
and found out why the ending and credits music was left out:
because the data for that music was outside the usual bankswitching scheme.
Also, the original rip had nulls instead of spaces in the author name
causing it to display just "Hiro" instead of the full name.
No disrespect to Kevin Horton (the original ripper), he is, after all,
the father of this format; but this version improves on his
in the following ways:

1) music for ending and credits included (total of 12 songs).
2) author name fully spelled out.
3) logical arrangement of songs (in my opinion).

Regards,
Scott Worley
